Cop PLANTS DRUGS On INNOCENT MAN, What Happens Is Shocking is an episode premiered on December 14, 2021. It lasts around 20 minutes in length.
The story centers upon a veteran police officer in a small town who moonlights as a drug kingpin. In the process, he frames several innocent people, including colleagues and citizens by planting drugs on them.
Plot[]
The story takes place in a small town, where the local police department is holding their morning meeting. The police chief, played by Eliot, in his first appearance in the Dhar Mann series, informs the department about a new narcotic on the street, and the fact that there had been multiple overdoses in the last few days alone. The only sample the police have been able to obtain so far is a small plastic bag of red pills, as the drug dealers seem to be hiding it under the radar rather well. The chief promises that whoever captures the drug kingpin will receive a promotion and a pay increase.
Officer Cole, a seasoned veteran of the force, promises to arrest the kingpin by himself. The chief proceeds to inform the department about a newcomer, Bryant, who has just graduated from police academy at the top of his class. He assigns Bryant to work with Cole, but Cole is initially reluctant. Nevertheless, he accepts and offers to drop the drug sample at the lab.
The next scene cuts to the police station's parking lot, where Cole and Bryant are about to start their day. Instead of dropping off the drug sample, Cole keeps the small bag of red pills on person. When Bryant questions such a decision, Cole claims he uses it as fishing bait, before ordering Bryant to stay silent and follow orders without question. He proceeds to order Bryant to drink a cup of coffee to stay awake.
They receive a message from dispatch about a suspicious man on the loose, and Cole and Bryant take off into the streets in their squad car. After spotting a bearded, homeless man on the street (although in a different location than what dispatch had described), Cole aggressively confronts him, against Bryant's objections. He orders the rookie officer to look around the neighborhood and for additional suspects, before planting the small plastic bag of drugs into the homeless man's pocket, accusing him of being a drug dealer.

Cole and Bryant confront a homeless man in the streets.
When Bryant comes back, he is out of breath, and sees that Cole has arrested the homeless man. Cole lies and tells the rookie officer that he had informed the suspect of his rights, before they drive back to the station.
In the parking lot, Bryant falls asleep, and wakes up to see Cole with the plastic bag of red pills. Realizing that Cole had planted the drugs onto the homeless man, Bryant threatens to report him to the chief, but Cole intimidates him, threatening to report Bryant for sleeping on the job. As a result, Bryant is unaware that Cole had spiked his coffee with sleeping medication, causing him to lose consciousness.
Left with no other choice, Bryant backs down but warns Cole, "Whatever happens in the dark always comes to light." Cole scoffs at him, saying that his previous partner said the same thing and he met a bad end.
The chief comes over, and Cole boasts about having arrested the kingpin. The chief dismisses such claims, as Cole only found a small plastic bag of pills, and that the real kingpin would have duffle bags of drugs. He proceeds to inform Cole that starting tomorrow, all officers will be required to wear body cameras, as there is supposedly a corrupt officer on the force. Roberts, Cole's former partner, who was fired for tampering with evidence, is supposedly responsible for spreading such rumors, and is reportedly working with the federal authorities regarding this matter.
The next day, Cole meets up with several shady-looking individuals in a garage. They stash several duffle bags in the trunk of his squad car, before Shelly, Cole's girlfriend, reminds him of his promise to pay her attorney fees.
Just before heading out on patrol, Cole gives a cup of coffee to Bryant, which has been spiked with extra sleeping medication. When they arrive at the home of the supposed kingpin, Bryant falls unconscious, and Cole unlocks the home's door before planting duffle bags of drugs inside the house.

Cole plants drugs inside the home of Roberts.
A while later, Roberts, Cole's former partner, shows up at the home armed and holds Cole at gunpoint. Moments later, the police chief arrives with another officer in tow, and Roberts gets handcuffed. Cole proceeds to inform his chief that Roberts is the kingpin, and that Bryant, who is lying on the floor unconscious, is his accomplice. The chief is impressed and promises Cole a promotion.
Just then, a group of FBI agents enter the home, along with Roberts, and handcuff Cole. The chief is confused and startled by the commotion.
The FBI agents inform the police chief that Cole is the true kingpin, and that he had framed Roberts. It turns out, the bearded homeless man that Cole arrested in the beginning of the episode was actually an undercover federal agent, creating an opportunity for the FBI to catch the suspect. In addition, Shelly, Cole's girlfriend, agreed to turn on him and help the FBI in exchange for being released from prison.
As Cole is led away by the FBI, Roberts and Bryant both remind him of what they had told him earlier, that what happens in the dark always comes to light.
The next morning, at the police station, the chief of the police announces that Roberts has been rehired and promoted to Sergeant. The entire department applauds and congratulates him on bringing down the drug kingpin, Cole, who is now behind bars and is presumably fired from his job.

Trivia[]
- This episode marks the first Dhar Mann appearance of Eliot.
- The reveal of the homeless man being an FBI agent manages to be one of the very few Dhar Mann plot twists that the YouTuber natepfleming actually didn't see coming in his reaction video and he had a really funny reaction to it. To be fair, other Youtubers like 'Damian Krysa' and 'DanDaMan' didn't expect it either.
- This episode is similar to the plotline of the popular police video game La Noire, as both main characters are police officers named Cole and both officers are eventually discharged from their jobs.
Errors[]
- Nothing is said about Officer Bryant after the FBI raid.
- When the chief said the kingpin would have duffel bags full of drugs, “duffel” was spelled as “duffle”.
