Plot[]
Preparing to go on a winter road trip with two of her best friends for a Friendsgiving at a cabin, Raji refuses to take the supplies (satellite phone, matches, portable heater, bear pepper spray and protein bars) that her dad is trying to give her so that he can be safe rather than sorry. While on the road, Raji and her friends overhear that a Winter storm is coming in and that an escaped serial killer, Jeffrey Cormick, is heading in the direction of where they will be staying. Once they get to the cabin, Raji learns that her other friends won't be joining as they are canceling their trip due to the storm and they have no way to reach out to anyone as they didn't bring the satellite phone and the cabin has no service. The situation for the girls begins to go from bad to worse as the storm causes a power outage, quickly causing the girls to freeze as without the matches or the portable heater that Raji's dad had packed for supplies, they have no way to stay warm. One of the girls becomes hungry but since Raji also didn't bring the protein bars and there's no electricity, they're unable to cook anything.
The girls begin to panic as they hear someone at the door and Raji realizes that it's Jeffrey Cormick as they go to hide in the bathroom. The power ends up being restored to the cabin as Jeffrey microwaves some fish sticks to eat but stops when he hears Raji's phone going off. Without a way to defend herself since they didn't bring the bear pepper spray, Raji and her friends prepare for the worst as Jeffrey breaks into the bathroom but is promptly knocked unconscious with a frying pan by Raji's father who wanted to be sure they were safe after hearing about the storm and Jeffrey's escape. Jeffrey is arrested by the police as Raji apologizes to her dad for not listening as he was right that she needed to be safe rather than sorry. Raji invites her dad to join them for Friendsgiving as he prepares to cook them a meal.
