Teens TURN 21-YEARS-OLD For 24 Hours is the first episode of Season 2 of Jay's World. It aired on December 1, 2023.

Plot[]

We first see Jay, Mikey, and Noah playing a VR game for 21-year-olds on their VR Headsets. We then hear Regina Lawson open his bedroom door and she tells them to take their headsets off and go outside, but they disagree.

We then see Regina talking to Kathy and Noah's dad about this in a restaurant, who suggests letting them do the fun parts of being 21-year-olds to teach them a lesson. Both of them agree. The next day, Regina gives the trio a $1000 credit card limit, but Regina Lawson made up a rule, "If you call me, you admit defeat and are not ready to being an adult." Jay, Mikey, and Noah fervently agreed to the deal.

Jay, Mikey and Noah have a lot of fun with their newly acquired credit card, spending money on an Uber, the movies, the arcade, and even for a party with girls they meet. Back at Jay's house, the trio found out that they spent $700, meaning only $300 left. Jay suddenly remembered that his mom removed the chips from the table because she was on a diet. They decide to order out, but Jay realized he forgot to get the credit card back from the Uber driver.

Then, Mikey and Noah say they want to admit defeat now, but Jay refuses. He then proceeds to drive his mom's car to collect the credit card, only to suddenly almost crash into a driver who then called the police, but Mikey proceeded to reverse the car. However, the police was already on the way and they asked for the trio's credentials. Jay frantically proceeds to call his mother about the situation.

Jay's mother told the police to arrest them without any hindrance, but instead, they empathized with the boys and let them off with a warning. When Regina tells the boys to give one good reason not to punish them, they try to defend themselves, with Noah mentioning they didn't spend all the money. However, Regina brings up the $500 ticket they received for driving without a license, and how they called her when they weren't supposed to. While Mikey tries to defend themselves, saying they could do whatever they wanted, Regina tells them that doesn't make their illegal actions OK. In the end, Jay's mom joked that Jay gets less trouble in the VR world than in the real world, so she thought twice before confiscating the VR device.

Moral[]

Adults cannot go back to being kids when it is convenient.

Trivia[]

  • This is the first video where the sponsorship segment was in the video itself rather than being in the beginning.

Allusions[]

Errors[]

  • At the beginning, Jay says, "about being adults," but the subtitles say, "about being an adults."
  • The limousine driver or business would certainly have told Jay about his missing credit card.
  • Kidz Bop is misspelled as "Kids Bop" in the subtitles.
    • Also, Kidz Bop never covered "Gin and Juice," which plays on the radio.
  • Jay drives down a suburban road, but somehow almost rear-ends a car in the Dhar Mann Studios parking lot.
    • It is also unexplained why the car was sitting in the middle of the parking lot with its engine turned off.
  • When the angry driver says, "What are you doing?," the captions say, "Where are you going?". "Woah" is also captioned as "Wow".
  • It would have taken longer than a few seconds for the police to respond.
  • Mikey said that he, Jay, and Noah are millionaires, but they are actually not, he mistook that $1,000 are actually millionaires.
  • When the scene cuts back to the boys in the car, the police car is behind it rather than it being in the front.
