Dharmann Wiki

Jason Thomas ''Jay'' Lawson is a recurring character in the Dhar Mann episodes. He serves as the main antagonist of the Jay and Mikey universe. He is the titular main antagonist/protagonist of the Jay’s World (formerly Jay and Mikey) series, one of the secondary antagonists (alongside Noah Higgins) of Mischief Mikey and one of the secondary deuteragonists (alongside Mikey Miller) of Noah's Arc. He’s portrayed by Shaun Dixon.

Overview[]

Jay is currently 16 years of age. Along with his friend Mikey Miller, he currently appears as one of the two titular main antagonists of the Jay & Mikey series.

Although his earliest episodes depicted him as a troublesome, dishonest and lazy individual, he’s shown to be significantly more mature in recent videos (and in the Jay & Mikey TV series).

Character Description[]

Jay debuted in Kid FAKES SICK NOTE to Skip Class, He Instantly Regrets It where he skipped class with Mikey and was severely punished. He then proceeded to flatten his mom’s tire and fake a broken arm. After going on a trip with his dad with convicts in 11-Year-Old ARRESTED At SCHOOL, What Happens Next Is Shocking, he became more mature.

Appearance[]

He has brown hair, brown eyes, dark skin, and stands at 5'8.

Personality[]

Although recent episodes have depicted a much more mature and sensible character, Jay has had his share of troublemaking antics, including faking a broken arm, skipping school, flattening the tire on his mother's car. In his earlier episodes, he is shown to be a similar character to Mikey Miller, being disobedient, lazy, dishonest, deceitful, rebellious, and disrespectful towards his parents as well as being unwilling to put forth effort in school. He has done antics similar to those of Mikey Miller, including faking a broken arm (with Mikey's help), skipping school (again with Mikey), as well as flattening the tire on his mother's car to avoid going to his school.

However, during two recent Mikey-centric episodes, he appears to have matured and changed significantly. Along with his friend Derek, he criticizes Mikey Miller for his latest antics, including pretending to be a skilled Minecraft player on Twitch, in addition to pulling the school's fire alarm. Unlike earlier episodes, Jay is depicted to be a far more mature, responsible, and sensible individual, being willing to put forth effort in school and do his work. He and Derek both criticize Mikey for his slothful attitude towards life, and understands the importance of working hard in order to achieve results. Despite this, he and Derek continue to be friends with Mikey, although their attitude towards him is becoming increasingly negative, especially after Mikey gets arrested for pulling a fire alarm.

In several recent episodes though, Jay seems to have regressed back into his old ways, as shown when he helps Mikey sabotage his mother's job interview, although this instance is somewhat understandable, as Mikey's family was going to move away had she gotten the job and the two didn't want to be separated. However, it turns out Jay's family was also moving, and the two boys soon find themselves attending the same new school by slim chance, thus allowing their friendship to continue, and giving them a fresh slate for their antics.

In addition, Jay was shown to have been arrested by two police officers (one of them being his father) for his misbehavior at school, stealing his school records from the principal's office as well as scaring and injuring the principal with a toy snake and mousetrap, respectively. His father decides to take him on a ride-along to help him see the consequences of bad decisions. Although an encounter with a former convict fails to change him (during which Jay realizes that it was all a set-up), his father then receives a call to respond to an armed robbery and a hostage situation at a local fast food joint. Jay unintentionally wanders into the restaurant, thinking it was another set-up, and only realizes the gravity of the situation when one of the gunmen fires his gun into the air, after which the other hostages urge him to comply with their demands. The police eventually storm the restaurant and arrest the gunmen, saving the hostages. Jay realizes at this point the true costs of poor decisions, after seeing the gunmen being locked up in a jail cell.

Another instance is when Jay, despite some initial reluctance, goes along with Mikey's plan to cheat at an arcade competition to win passes to a video game convention. While they are successful, the plan falls apart when the two discover that one of the passes is for an adult to come with them (since kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult), and the two's fighting over who should go leads to them unintentionally exposing their cheating, costing them the passes (which are given to their friend Landon, who refused to cheat), and getting them both in trouble with their parents. Jay and his family had a mishap once where Mrs. Lawson (Jay’s mom) was trying to teach Jay a lesson and offered or hired a guy to “kidnap” him, as Jay overheard the conversation, a real kidnapper came and Jay thought it was the actor, when in reality, it wasn’t.
