KID CHEATS In SCHOOL Fundraiser, He Lives To Regret It is a video made by Dhar Mann. It premiered on August 8, 2022.

Plot[]

In the opening, Eddie is daydreaming about driving a Go-Kart around the school, impressing everyone around him. People start chanting his name, but it turns out Eddie is daydreaming in class, and Oscar has to clap in Eddie’s ear to get him to snap out of it. Eddie tells Oscar and Brett how he’s looking forward to showing up with a Go-Kart, if he raises the most money selling chocolates. However, Brett tells him there’s no way that Eddie will sell the most chocolates. Eddie reveals that he’s already sold 30 boxes of chocolate, by begging his rich uncle to buy them. A girl named Paula reveals to have sold 60. Eddie doesn’t like Paula, because she is all about selling the most chocolates and winning.

Eddie knows there’s no way he can compete with Paula, since the reason Paula had sold 60 chocolate bars was because her dad gave them to all his people at work. Hearing this, Eddie comes with an idea for all three of them, Eddie, Oscar, and Brett to combine their chocolate together. But Brett tells them it’s against the rules, as it says on the flyer that players are not allowed to combine sales with other players. As a result, Eddie still insists on doing his plan, but Brett wants no part of it, and tells them that if they cheat, they’ll never get ahead. Oscar decides to go with the plan, though.

During the announcement, Paula was announced as the winner. However, the money she earned was missing. With that, Eddie was the winner. But it was short-lived when Paula exposed Eddie for stealing her money, resulting in his disqualification. Brett was the real winner when he sold almost 300 boxes. Eddie asked Brett if he could give the scooter, but the latter refused and told him, "If you cheat, you'll never get ahead." The students boo Eddie for cheating.

Moral[]

Trivia[]

  • The ice cream truck has two music boxes: a Digital II and an Omni, both made by Nichols Electronics. The former was discontinued in 2018; the latter in 2006.
  • This marks the first time Winston Vengapally worked on an episode with Will Brunton.

Allusions[]

Errors[]

  • Several of the crew members are uncredited in the description.
  • A gumball is already dispensed before Eddie hits the machine. It is dispensed again after he hits the machine.
  • It was irresponsible of Uncle Larry to leave the keys in his ice cream truck.
  • When Eddie drives the ice cream truck:
    • He turns on a Digital II music box, but it plays "Turkey in the Straw" from the Digital I music box. In reality, it would have played the former's version of "La Cucaracha" since the tune knob is set to 6. The song also stops when the truck begins to move.
    • Even though he turns the ignition on, he does not actually start the engine.
    • Eddie is supposed to change the gear to drive, but he actually changes it to neutral.
    • Since Eddie does not drive the truck away from the curb, he would have driven straight into the car parked in front of it.
    • The truck is not moving in the close-ups of Eddie driving it.
    • Eddie cannot find the brake pedal after he begins driving, yet he is able to change the gear.
    • After Eddie stops the ice cream truck:
      • "Brakes" in the subtitles is misspelled as "breaks." The subtitles are at times placed on a white surface, making them hard to read.
      • Eddie is wearing a seatbelt. But before he stops the truck and when he and Oscar get customers, he is not.
    • Eddie and Oscar drive in a neighborhood, but they stop in front of Dhar Mann Studios.
  • The chocolate bars still would have melted, even if they were not put in the freezer.
  • One of the customers says, "Is this the chocolate?" but the subtitles say, "Is this a chocolate?"
  • Surely, one of the customers would have questioned them being in an ice cream truck without an adult, especially if they saw it moving.
  • In some shots of Eddie and the principal in the hallway, the fire alarm appears to have been pulled.
  • Realistically, there would be a deadline for the students to sell all of their chocolate bars before declaring who sold the most; there would also be a limit for the number of boxes each student could buy.
  • The principal would have said the first and last names of the student he names. He only says the first names of the students.
  • The kids do not actually boo Eddie; it is a stock sound effect that can be heard both times they do so.
