KID PULLS Fire Alarm To SKIP TEST, He Lives To Regret It is an episode that was released on May 17, 2022.
Plot[]
The episode opens with Mikey, Jay, and Derek discussing their plans to visit Legoland the following day. Although Mikey had been grounded, he managed to convince his mother to allow him to go by promising her that he wouldn't fail another test that month, but did not mention that there would not be any more tests.
Just then, Mr. Wilson, their teacher, walks by with a paper in his hand, telling them that they would be having a surprise. Mikey panics, believing it is a pop quiz. However, Derek and Jay shrug it off, having completed their reading assignments the night before. As a result, Mikey was busy with his Minecraft tournament, and as usual, he slacks off.
Mikey begins to think of solutions, including faking an illness and a broken leg, but both solutions are laughed off by Derek and Jay as ridiculous. He simply tells Mikey that he has no other choice, but Mikey is adamant that he will find a solution. In the classroom, Mr. Wilson hands out the pop quiz to students. However, just as he is about to begin, a female teacher interrupts his class and tells him about an incident at a local high school where a student pulled the fire alarm, causing commotion and panic. The perpetrator had not yet been caught.
This gives Mikey an idea. He should pull the fire alarm. Derek and Jay warn him about the potential consequences, but Mikey ignores them and asks for permission to use the restroom. He takes the restroom keys off of Mr. Wilson's desk, and leaves to pull the alarm. Eventually, the janitor sees him and informs him that one of the toilets had overflowed in the men's restroom. Mikey tells him that he will be heading to his locker, as he waits for the janitor to disappear.
After the janitor is out of sight, Mikey pulls the alarm with his shirt, staining the pull station with cheese dip on his shirt in the process. The fire alarm goes off, triggering a mass evacuation and emergency response from the fire and police department. Mikey feels pleased with himself, although Derek and Jay are skeptical and criticize Mikey for his actions.
The fire department captain walks over to Mr. Wilson and informs him it was a false alarm, but he wants to gather evidence. No one is aware that it was Mikey. Mr. Wilson informs him that he was getting ready to start the school day, before suddenly remembering that he gave Mikey the keys to the restroom. This prompts the fire department captain as well as Mr. Wilson and Principal Danvers to bring Mikey into the school next to the alarm for questioning.
The video camera for the hallway had been set up that day. As they are about to review the footage of events that occurred, they realize that the camera had been activated right after Mikey pulled the alarm. When the janitor asks about the situation, Principal Danvers informs him of Mikey's story. The janitor is confused, as he was fixing a toilet in the bathroom at the time, and Mikey wasn't in there. Mikey then makes up his story, claiming that he had gone into the girl's restroom instead. However, Mr. Wilson and Principal Danvers are still quite suspicious.
Before the teacher and principal are about to give Mikey one more chance to be honest, two police officers then arrive with a fingerprint kit. But they are unable to find any fingerprints. However, they are able to find cheese dip on the pull station. Mr. Wilson (who recognizes the cheese dip on the pull station) suddenly remembers that Mikey had a snack pack with cheese and crackers in class earlier. He rubbed the cheese dip all over his shirt and he (with the shirt covered in cheese dip) used it to pull down the fire alarm. At that moment, everyone realizes that Mikey was the culprit. Mikey breaks down and admits that he had done it, but only because he wanted to avoid taking the pop quiz. However, Mr. Wilson reveals that they were only going to play a Bingo game, and Mikey realizes that he did this all for nothing.
Angered, Principal Danvers tells Mikey that he is going to come to her office. (That is, though she is trying to give Mikey a first offense for that.) But the police stop her. Then, Mikey thanks them for saving him from going to the principal's office. Mikey's relief doesn't last long though. The police officer says that even though Mikey is not going to the principal's office nor is he being expelled, he is instead coming with them. He (the police officer) reveals that pulling the fire alarm is a major offense. As a result, Mikey is put in handcuffs and brought outside, and he begs the police not to take him to jail. Mikey's mom, Kathy, then arrives, having heard of the fire alarm going off. The police inform her that Mikey pulled the alarm. Mikey begs his mother not to take his tablet or ground him, and Kathy responds in disbelief and anger that he should be more concerned about going to juvenile detention. Kathy then says she'll meet the cops later, and Mikey begs for his mom not to go, but to no avail.

Mikey gets arrested by the police.
Just before he's put in the car, Mikey tells Derek and Jay to help him. Derek (who stares shocked into silence instead of stepping in to defend Mikey) reminds him of what he told him earlier on, that running away from your problems only makes them worse. Eventually, Mikey lets out a long, confused scream just before the police close the door on him.

Trivia[]
- Making a false alarm is a misdemeanor in the state of California, meaning Mikey would have served up to 1,000 years in county jail and/or be given a $1,000 fine. False alarms are also considered dangerous.
- Mikey's scream became an Internet meme.
- In the beginning of the video, Mikey reveals that Mikey was running from his problems since first grade
- Also in the beginning of the video, Derek reveals that Mikey has been suspended at least 5 times.
- Viewers criticized Mr. Wilson & Principal Danvers for suspending Mikey at least 5 times because Mikey is an elementary school student and that form of discipline is too young for a suspension.
- Mr. Wilson should have put Mikey in timeout.
- Detractors posit that they think Mikey is a middle school student which is deemed old enough for a suspension.
- Overall, viewers think that suspending Mikey was the school staff’s biggest mistake in the Mikey videos.
Allusions[]
- This episode is similar to "April 9th" from an episode of "Arthur."
- However, the only difference is that Binky's punishment is to do community service while Mikey was arrested, but presumably later let go.
Errors[]
- Fire was misspelled as "ffffffif'" in the original title of the video.
- A police officer tells Mikey that pulling a fire alarm is a serious crime. However, he should have told him that making a false fire alarm is a serious crime.
- When Mikey was arrested and got inside the police car, the cheese dip stain from his shirt disappeared.
- Jay says, "Wait, how'd you even convince your mom to go," when he should've said, "Wait, how'd you even convince your mom to let you go?"
