PLOT[]
Meredith becomes frustrated when her husband David and children, Finley and Walker, take her home cooked meals for granted and choose to eat takeout for dinner and breakfast rather than her cooking. Getting an idea from a TikTok video she watched of a mom who charged her family for services when she began to feel underappreciated, Meredith begins to charge the three of them $15 for dinner and breakfast. David, Finley and Walker refuse to pay the money and instead decide to get takeout pizza and McDonald's for breakfast. The decision to enjoy fast food and takeout begins to haunt the three of them as David ends up late to a meeting and makes a critical accounting error on an assignment he is presenting to a potential investor causing her to walk out, Finley falls asleep in math class while dealing with stomach cramps from hunger and Walker can barely keep up with his other classmates during football tryouts.
David, Finley and Walker decide to pay for the food as Meredith tells them that they don't have to pay for their meals and only wanted to teach them as a lesson as they had taken her home cooked meals for granted which were meant to be healthy and keep them energized. The three of them apologize for making Meredith feel undervalued and promise to do better going forward, happily sitting down to eat a meal with Meredith.
