PLOT[]
After the passing of his father, Jake Hastings takes over as CEO of his company and fires all of the senior staff over the age of 30 as he wants to move in a more modern direction. Gregory, his father's closest advisor, pleads with Jake not to do this as they worked hard on a upcoming pitch for a potential investor and that wisdom and experience come with age but Jake refuses to listen. Jake hires a much younger staff who has no interest in helping Jake earn any money as they are much more interested in messing around on social media and slacking off though his two new senior managers create a TikTok in order to impress the investor. The investor, however, walks out on the spot after he is shown the TikTok as nothing in the meeting is focusing on the data or statistics (Jake previously threw out the old team's pitch) and doesn't want to invest in a company he doesn't trust. Due to the failed pitch, Jake's company begins losing money until he is forced to sell the company and struggles to find any work due to his tattered reputation until one day, a business finally agrees to hire Jake.
Jake arrives at the company where he learns that the CEO is none other than Gregory, who created a new company together with the former members of the senior manager team who Jake had previously fired and together with their combined experience, they turned it into a Fortune 500 company. Gregory says that he owes it to Jake's father to give him a second chance and that if he allows Jake to mentor him, he can help him achieve great things working at Gregory's company. Jake, realizing that Gregory was right about experience and wisdom coming with age, agrees to let Gregory be his mentor.
