Plot[]

Jason, a spoiled rich teenager humiliates another teenager named Adam, who is helping out with chores around their house in order to pay for a PlayStation 5 for the holidays. After Jason tosses a football to knock Adam off a step ladder while he tries to help Jason's mom put up Christmas lights, she becomes angered over Jason's spoiled nature and puts him to work doing Adam's chores in exchange for his PlayStation 5 for Christmas. Jason finds out that Adam's job isn't as easy as he thought as he becomes tired from having to rake leaves, clean the pool and put up Christmas lights that constantly fall down. Surprised with Jason's good behavior, his mom decides to give him his gift early but he waits to open it and instead goes to give Adam his Christmas card. The two learn from Adam's grandmother that he is visiting his little brother in the hospital where they see that Adam is giving his brother the PlayStation 5, revealing that the money he was trying to earn was for his brother's gift so he would have something to do while cooped up in the hospital. Adam tells Jason and his mom that his parents got into a tragic car accident that took both of their lives but his little brother was the only survivor and he wishes that he would have switched places with him so that he wasn't in the hospital in pain. Jason apologizes for his cruel treatment of Adam previously as they give him his Christmas card and leave. On Christmas, Jason and his mother show up to their grandmother's apartment where Jason gives his PlayStation 5 to Adam as a gift and happily agrees to stay to play with him for a few hours, saying that Adam gave him a far greater gift by showing him what kindness and the value of hard work is.
