"Student CHEATS On His EXAM, He Instantly Regrets It" is an episode released by Dhar Mann on July 21, 2021.

It is one of the several episodes featuring Mikey Miller, a recurring character, as well as his younger brother, Jayden Miller.

Having performed poorly on the most recent English test, Mikey is told that he will not be allowed to participate in the class trip to Legoland California unless he obtains an A on the next test. Desperate to go on the class trip but unwilling to put in effort, Mikey chooses to cheat and suffers the consequences of his actions.

Plot

The episode opens with Mr. Wilson handing his English Class their tests. Everyone has performed reasonably well except for Mikey, who received a failing grade. On the other hand, Jayden, his younger brother, received a perfect score. Mr. Wilson warns Mikey that if he does not score an A on the next test, he will not be able to join the class on their trip to Legoland California. Mikey, excited at the prospect of going there, promises to work hard to obtain a good score.

LegolandFlyer

Mr. Wilson's class trip flyer.

At lunch time, Mikey begins devising strategies to ace the exam without putting in the effort. He prepares three strategies, including writing cheat notes on his hand, inside his water bottle, and finally, on blue tissue paper. Jayden warns his older brother against cheating, but Mikey ignores him, adamant on doing things the easy way.

The next day, while everybody, including Jayden begin to take their test, Mikey begins to put his plan into action. His first strategy of writing cheat notes on his hand fails when Mr. Wilson orders the entire class to wash their hands with hand sanitizer. His second strategy likewise fails when Mr. Wilson orders him to put his water bottle away, as drinks are not allowed in class. His third strategy, however, succeeds. Mikey pretends to have seasonal allergy symptoms, giving him an excuse to pull out his blue tissue paper, where he wrote his cheat notes. After he finishes his test, he hands it in, confident that he will receive a perfect score with Mr. Wilson being unaware that Mikey cheated on his test.

Mikey Confidence

Mikey confidentiality tells his teacher that will be surprised.

The next day, Mr. Wilson is welcoming his class onto the bus for the field trip. Jayden and Mikey are the last two students to arrive, and while Jayden is allowed to board the bus, Mr. Wilson asks to speak with Mikey. Mikey begins to worry, thinking that he performed badly. However, Mr. Wilson informs him that he obtained a perfect score, still unaware that Mikey has cheated. Mikey celebrates his success, as does his teacher and Jayden tells Mikey about his warning again as Mikey ignores his brother.

Mikey Cheat Tissue

Mikey cheats using his third strategy, blue tissue papers.

Just as the bus is about to leave, however, the janitor knocks on the window. He informs Mr. Wilson that he found cheat notes written on a piece of blue tissue paper. Mr. Wilson realizes that Mikey had cheated to obtain his perfect score, and angrily orders Mikey to get off the bus and go straight to the principal's office, informing Mikey that he is in big trouble. Mikey protests, to no avail. The class cheers as Mikey is led off the bus and taken to the principal's office with Mr. Wilson telling Mikey that he will tell his mom of what he did.

Mikey Caught

Mr. Wilson realizes that Mikey cheated on the test, and Mikey gets in big trouble.

In the extended cut, Mikey is shown writing lines on the dry erase board as a punishment. He is ordered to repeatedly write the sentence, "If you cheat, you never get ahead." He finally finishes and asks to be allowed to go home. However, his mother decides that he should redo it. Mikey groans and erases the board, before starting again.

MikeyPunishment

Mikey writes lines as his punishment.

Trivia

  • In the extended cut, Mikey is shown writing a sentence repeatedly on the dry erase board as a punishment. This is similar to the chalkboard gag in the opening sequence of "The Simpsons" in which Bart Simpson does the same, but on a chalkboard. The sentence Bart writes is different in each episode.
  • Cheating is a violation against school rules, meaning that (although it was not shown in the video nor in the extended cut), in the end Mikey also got suspended for the rest of the school year.
  • Some people watching the video criticized Mr. Wilson & Ms. Danvern (the principal) for banning Mikey from going to Legoland with his classmates & suspending him for the rest of the school year instead of just letting him go on the field trip and putting him in timeout afterwards because mikey is an elementary school student and that form of school discipline is deemed inappropriate for elementary school students, while other people approve of Mr Wilson & Ms. Danverns decision because they think Mikey is a middle school student which is deemed old enough for a suspension.
  • There are many ways Mikey could've still went on the trip.
    • He could've thrown the tissue away in another trash can that is not in the school.
    • Mikey could've kept the tissue in his pockets until he got to his mom's car and just thrown it out the window.
    • If Mikey and Jayden got to the bus early and not late then the janitor wouldn't have time to get to the bus.
    • or just studied.
      • This episode's plot revolves around an unfortunate and extremely rare chain of events.

Errors

  • Even though the first question on Mikey's quiz is marked wrong, it is actually correct.
  • It is unlikely that the janitor would unfold paper found in a garbage can and assume that the notes belonged to one of Mr. Wilson's students, let alone know it was used to cheat.
  • When the janitor knocks on the school bus window, the entry door is open. In the next shot, it is closed.
  • The caption says that the class is "jeering" instead of cheering. It leads the viewers to believe that while they're happy with him getting kicked off the bus for cheating, they're not happy that he did cheat.
